This original vintage exhibition poster was printed in France in 1983 for a museum show dedicated to Jean Alexis Rouchon (1801–1878). Issued with the 1983 UCAD / Musée de la Publicité copyright, it is an authentic period print, not a reproduction. Rouchon was a pioneering French wallpaper printer whose innovative polychrome techniques revolutionized poster production in the mid-19th century, shaping the foundations of modern advertising art.
The poster remains in very good condition, with clean colors and only light, natural signs of age. A refined and historically significant piece, ideal for framing and display.
