Mother and baby elephant figurines by Goebel Porzellanfabrik, West Germany, 1970s: glossy tangerine glaze, oversized stylised ears, hand-painted black toenails and white tusks. The two figures face each other with trunks raised. Both marked Goebel W. Germany on the base.
Mum: 7.5 × 5 cm · Baby: 5.5 × 5.3 cm.
Very good vintage condition. A few tiny spots of glaze wear on the mum, consistent with age.
