This ceramic centerpiece from Caltagirone, wheel-thrown in the early 2000s, represents a perfect bridge between ancient island tradition and a sharp, minimalist graphic aesthetic.

The structure is enriched by two rows of hand-modeled "spicchi a pigna" (pinecone scales) along the rim—a traditional Sicilian symbol of prosperity and hospitality—framing the internal geometric pattern with a strong sculptural presence.
