A rare late 19th century Italian ex-voto painting dated 18 luglio 1894 and signed Vincenzo Marella. Hand-painted on a single wooden plank, it shows a maritime miracle scene with a fishing boat, crew, and the Madonna appearing in a golden cloud.
Ready to hang with its original period hanger.
W32 x H27 x D3 cm
condition: Age-related wear throughout, paint loss, scratches, craquelure, and edge wear consistent with an 1890s ex-voto. Structurally sound.
