Exceptional Danish mid-century teak sideboard, model 309, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik in 1958. A highly refined and collectible piece that represents the designers’ signature balance of functionality, craftsmanship, and elegant restraint.
Crafted entirely from solid teak, the sideboard features two tambour doors on the left that slide smoothly to reveal generous internal storage, while the right side offers five drawers with the iconic Hvidt & Mølgaard sculpted handles. The combination of practical layout and distinctive detailing makes this piece both highly functional and visually striking.
