Description du produit
A rare and beautifully preserved original Mid-Century Modern lighting set produced by the renowned Czech manufacturer Drukov Brno in the late 1960s.
The set consists of:
• a 6-arm chandelier
• a matching 2-arm wall lamp
Both pieces feature elegant white metal arms with subtle brass accents and distinctive opal glass shades with perforated decorative rings, a design detail characteristic of high-quality Czechoslovak lighting of the era.
When illuminated, the opaline glass creates a soft warm light that perfectly reflects the optimistic design language of the European mid-century modern period.
Lighting from Drukov was widely exported across Europe and is today highly appreciated by collectors and interior designers for its sculptural forms and excellent craftsmanship.
About the manufacturer
Drukov was a well-known lighting manufacturer based in Brno, active from the late 1940s.
The company produced innovative lighting fixtures combining metal structures with glass elements and became one of the key producers of modern lighting in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s and 1970s.
Today their pieces are considered important examples of Central European mid-century design and frequently appear in curated vintage collections.
