I am sellling these four iconic Charles & Ray Eames, Herman Miller, authentic Fiberglass in dark blue Shell Chairs, with the popular "Eiffel" base (DSR) version.
In very good condition.
Only sold as set of four.
Production period: 1950-1959
First introduced by Charles & Ray Eames and launched by Vitra/Herman Miller in 1950, marking a milestone as the first mass-produced plastic chairs, combining organic shapes with various bases for versatility.
I bought them over 20 years ago and loved them since, but it is time for a new owner.
Deze dark bleu Eames Fiberglass kuipstoelen, met het bekende Eifeltoren onderstel, zijn designed and developed in Switzerland en manufactured in Germany.
De stoel heeft een zitkuip van glasvezel, een zithoogte van 43 centimeter en een zitdiepte van 52 centimeter.
Het zogenaamde Eiffeltoren onderstel kent een complexe en elegante constructie van staaldraad, combineert lichte, elegante vormen met structurele sterkte.
De originele Eames Fiberglass Chairs hebben een comfortabel zitkussen van kunstof bekleed met donkerblauw skai gekregen aanvang jaren 80.
Each chair has a factory label with number for authenticating of it.
Een van de 4 stoelen heeft een kleine beschadiging (kras) in het zitkussen, zie foto. Stoelen en onderstel in uitstekende staat.
