Hand hammered iron- marble coffee table Neoclassical Style from the 50s.
Jean Maurice Rothschild 1902-1998 was an interior artist and furniture designer and,
whose most famous works were for the liner of Normandy cruise, and the Eiffel Tower restaurant.
Exceptional, very massive coffee table - made of a richly decorated forged iron frame
The wrought iron table frame is coated with a grey finish - a beautiful contrast to the play of colors on the tabletop.
The table stands on 3 outward-facing fins- absolutely stable
In between there are 3 grotesque Sculptures made of composite wood
The Table Top is made of "blue water gray and green" Marble - like the Ocean
