The Heritage:
This is an authentic, 19th-century Portuguese "Canga" (Ox Yoke), a rare piece of Mediterranean Folk Art. Hand-carved from solid timber, it served for decades in the rural north of Portugal. Every mark, notch, and curve tells a story of traditional craftsmanship.

Preservation: The original patina and hand-forged wrought iron elements have been meticulously cleaned and stabilized. Finish: The wood has been treated with premium finishes to achieve a deep, satin glow that is smooth to the touch while highlighting the raw, organic grain.
