A commanding mid-century modern wingback armchair manufactured in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. This sculptural piece highlights the exceptional organic modernism of the post-war European era, featuring a finely crafted solid oak frame with sweeping, tapered armrests and an elegant open profile. The soaring high backrest terminates in iconic wing profiles and features subtle button tufting, offering superb ergonomic support and a deeply relaxing sit.
The armchair has undergone a complete professional restoration. The solid oak timber has been meticulously cleaned and refinished to restore its natural golden warmth and prominent grain structure.
