Kooistra

After working for several design companies in the Netherlands, she founded her own design studio, Ynske Kooistra Studio, in 2013. Her work focuses primarily on the design of products, furniture and interior spaces. She has collaborated with many brands and companies, including Hay, Ikea, Pode, FEST Amsterdam, Scholten & Baijings and Moooi. Her approach to design focuses on simplicity, functionality and aesthetics, using natural and sustainable materials. She is also known for her soft color palette and her ability to create elegant, timeless designs. In addition to her design work, Ynske Kooistra has also been a professor of product design at the Minerva Academy in Groningen since 2012.
