Fagerlund

Fagerlund began working at Orrefors in 1946, and was soon promoted to head of the design team. He worked with innovative glassmaking techniques, such as hot-pressing and colored glass fusion, to create unique, modern designs. Some of his best-known creations are the "Dokumentär" lamp series and the "Fuga" lamp, which were produced in large quantities and have become classics of Scandinavian design. Fagerlund has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including the prestigious Lunning Award in 1955.
