Biography Born in Germany in 1937. He studied philosophy, art history, German and psychology. His first design was the Prismus table, now considered a classic. In 1968, together with his wife Karin Friedrichshafen, he founded Draenert, a company dedicated to the production of designer and art furniture. He works with materials such as steel, glass and natural stone.
