A set of four vintage J80 dining chairs designed by Jørgen Bækmark and produced in 1967 by FDB Møbler in solid oak. These Danish modern classics feature elegantly tapered legs and elegant backrests. Designed during Bækmark’s tenure as head of FDB Møbler, the chairs reflect his commitment to functionalist design rooted in fine craftsmanship. Wonderful clean lines and natural materials make these chairs a timeless design classic.
The makers stamp and date is hidden underneath the seat weaving but documented in the photos; production date 1967-1-3.
The chairs show only light signs of use for their age, the oak has a wonderful patina and color from aging. All the chairs have newly woven seat in original danish papercord.
