Tibor Házi floor lamp with spherical shade is a truly unique and elegant piece from the world of Hungarian industrial design. Tibor Házi was a famous designer whose works became particularly well-known in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The floor lamps he designed often combined modern shapes and traditional materials, while emphasizing functionality and clean aesthetics.Tibor Házi, a glass designer and industrial artist, regularly designed for the Industrial Arts Company starting in 1972, and several lamp series starting in 1973. The implementation of his designs and their manufacture within a small-scale, artisanal framework took place partly in his own workshop and partly in factories (Tokodi Glass Factory, Parádi Glass Factory).From an international perspective, Tibor Házi's lamps have many relatives: in addition to the space age-style, plastic products of the aforementioned Guzzini-Meblo, the sharp elegance, sculptural objects of the Dutch brands Raak and Gepo, and the French Jean-Pierre Garrault and Henri Delord.Alkotó:
