sofa was made around mid-1970s in Germany (not by ClassiCon)! produced from the original drawings by Eileen Gray.
i bought it in 1981 at Cor Mans Interieur in Bennekom and am first owner.
I have inquired, but have not been able to get more info.
The sofa ( and Eileen Gray) is described in the book 'Furniture that makes history' on page 140.needs full restoration, but of course it remains a "classic design item.
the high-gloss painted side blocks (front and rear black, top and sides gray), are in good condition and easily disconnected.
i have to click on something under 'condition', with 'good' being the least of the 3.
the basic construction of the woodwork is OK.
