This specimen is obviously of more recent date namely from DCW Editions LAMPE GRAS N°217 By Bernard-Albin Gras who at the beginning of this century acquired the rights to reintroduce this series to the market. Anyway, we bought this lamp in 2017. (Still have the invoice here.)
The DCW Editions website has a lot of background information about Gras and this lamp series. With historical footage showing, for example, Le Corbusier and Matisse using these lamps.
The lamp is completely undamaged and original. However, after the recent redecoration of the living room, the lamp has not returned. We have decided to get rid of it.
