Discover this unique piece from the Yugen.ori collection, where the ancient art of Kintsugi meets contemporary refinement.
This 13 cm diameter spherical vase is distinguished by its mineral hues, oscillating between pure white and a misty gray. The cracks, testaments to the object's history, have been restored using the traditional Japanese method with natural Urushi lacquer.
The Silver Finish:
To enhance this cool-toned piece, I chose a finish of pure silver powder (Keshifun). This choice brings an icy sheen and timeless elegance, creating a striking yet soothing contrast with the ceramic. A fine detail at the neck, reminiscent of the original clay, completes the piece's chromatic balance.
Philosophy:
Here, every scar is a metamorphosis. This vase is no longer simply repaired; it is magnified by its metallic lines that capture the light differently throughout the day. Materials: Ceramic, natural Urushi lacquer, pure silver powder.
Dimensions: Diameter 13 cm.
Craftsmanship: Handmade with patience and respect for traditional drying times in a Muro (humidity chamber).
An ideal piece for a minimalist interior design, inviting contemplation and Wabi-sabi.
