Product description
Willem Hussem (1900 - 1974) was a Dutch painter, sculptor and poet. From 1918 to 1936, Hussem lived in Paris, where he met Mondrian and Picasso, among others. After World War II, Hussem's work became abstract. He was part of art movements such as Fugare and Verve. His work is considered part of the Nieuwe Haagse School art movement. This vintage silkscreen is in excellent condition and is hand-signed by the artist. The silkscreen was made in 1969 and has a run number of 5/10. The work fits beautifully in a vintage or minimalist interior! Create your own wall mosaic (see last photo) and mix vintage artwork with posters, photographs and contemporary artists. This way you playfully put together your own inspiration wall in your living room or office. In our extensive collection there are not only contemporary artists but also many historical prints with which you can create a cool wall mosaic in no time. Also check out our other items from Galerie Rotor at Whoppah. Would you like to have the work framed? We at Galerie Rotor can do any framing for you.
