Cassina LCD 10 coffee table, by Le Corbusier, 1970/1980
LC10 low rectangular coffee table designed by LE CORBUSIER, PIERRE JANNERET and CHARLOTTE PERRIAND for CASSINA in chromed steel and tempered glass. Polished trivalent chromed (CR3) steel legs and painted steel structure. This table served as a desk, and was an integral part of the planned furniture system. The load-bearing structure, reduced to the essentials, derives its expressiveness from the treatment of the material: the chrome plating of the tubular uprights and the colored lacquering on the laminate crosspieces
