There are several ways to model Murano glass. Most people immediately think of blowing, which consists of - as the name implies - blowing glass through a stick into a glass mass so that it expands until it becomes extremely thin. Another way, however, is to mold an object, which creates a more elaborate shape that a blower wouldn't be able to get. Such is the case with this solid transparent vase, which has an elegant and smoothly chamfered decoration on the front. The green spot is skilfully obtained by a thin layer of green glass and emphasizes the focal point of the decorative pattern. The front and back are smooth, while the sides are softly matted, adding a material quality to the object. When used as a vase, it can hold a single flower, with a hole with a diameter of 1 cm and a depth of approximately 7 cm. It has been preserved in very good condition, with a warm patina and no cracks or dents.
