Model "Westhope" from the English manufacturer Jentique can rightly be called a pearl of a Highboard! Designed with the sharpest eye for detail and built according to the highest English quality standards by real craftsmen! Made from a beautifully warm dark veneer top layer and full of beautiful details.The brochure from the 1960s proudly states that people even go for a lifetime of satisfaction:"Jentique Furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. This leaflet illustrates the designs at present available. Examine the pieces in the shop and we are sure you will be impressed by the finish and first class materials used. to us that each individual customer shall be permanently satisfied with his acquisition." This model is a so-called Highboard, a multifunctional cabinet where all the elements that make a vintage cabinet so popular these days come together nicely. We see 2 showcases with sliding glass doors, a cabinet with flap which can function as a bar (with light!), various cabinet spaces with doors and also also at the bottom a section with spacious drawers in the middle. The cabinet is full of very nice details, from the handles to the mirrors, from the layout and the 4 sliding glass doors, to the beautiful use of materials. These typical idiosyncrasies make an English vintage piece of furniture even more fun! The whole is very neat in appearance, of course over 60 years old and here and there there is a minimal trace of use, but fortunately nothing that will negatively influence the functioning.
