These elegant chairs are the Clio model, which was designed by Giorgio Cattelan in the 1970s and produced by the Italian manufacturer Cidue.
Typical of this design is the minimalist formal language, which nevertheless exudes a strong presence. The chairs are characterized by their clean lines and a sleek, functional aesthetic that perfectly reflects the spirit of Italian design at the time.
The seat is made of a hand-woven natural material in a light shade, which contrasts beautifully with the black, powder-coated metal frame. This combination gives the chairs a warm yet modern look. The slightly curved backrests offer ergonomic support and emphasize the light, airy design.
Although the frame appears delicate, the solid design ensures stability and suitability for everyday use. Contrary to what it may seem at first glance, these are not folding chairs - the Clio model has a fixed construction, which gives it additional robustness.
