For sale. Original artwork by Selwyn Senatori on linen from 2013. It is a painting by Fajah Lourens. Bought at Kunsthuizen Leiden in 2016. Biography: Selwyn Senatori was born in Pallanza in Italy. He graduated from the High School of the Arts in Utrecht, where he studied illustrative design. This direction teaches you to make an image, by shaping the concept with the appropriate materials. In addition, the training ensures that you develop your versatility. And that has definitely worked in his favor. Selwyn Senatori started illustrating children's books at the publishing house Lemniscaat. He has also been nominated by the Art Directors Club Nederland [adcn] as an upcoming illustrative talent, which automatically put him in the advertising yearbook. Besides an illustrator for the Art-Box, Selwyn Senatori is also a painter. Due to his various assignments, Selwyn Senatori works very versatile. He uses different materials and techniques. He prefers acrylic paint, but otherwise he uses everything from chalk, pencils and markers to aerosols.
