Canvas Print "The fine art of traveling". Painted by Robert van den Herik. This is a surreal rendering of a square in the center of Paris. In the courtyard of the Palais Royal is an art installation made by the French artist Daniel Buren (1985). It's called "Les Deux Plateaux", also known as "Colonnes de Buren" Robert was very impressed with this square, with the artwork. The atmosphere, colors, serenity, etc. Robert painted water in this square. In it a giant, mega, gigantic squid. It comes across as very menacing. This one breaks the serenity. The size of the painted part is 60 x 60 cm. The width of the Frame/frame is 10 cm. So the total length and width is 80 x 80 cm... The frame/frame is made of plywood and provided with a cement, concrete-like layer. As a result, the painting weighs approximately 6 kg. Creation date: 21-12-21. Introduce: Robert van den Herik is a Dutch designer, living in Belgium. Followed training at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Robert then came up with a new concept for bathing babies.
