A very rare lounge chair by A.A. Patijn for Poly-Z Joure.
This interior designer designed a line of furniture "Poly-Z" with elements of Art Deco combined with classical elements. But he was clearly also influenced by his time, the 1950s. This high-back chair, as it is the men's version, has been brought back to this time with a new upholstery. The chair has been reupholstered with Kvadrat Steelcut Trio.
The chair fits very well in a modern interior, but of course also in a mid-century decor.
The hocker is not by Zijlstra but looks complementary to the chair and it has also been reupholstered in the same fabric. The chair comes with an extra cushion, see photos.
