It shines because it has just been put in the oil. When that has dried, it no longer shines of course (see last photo). Cabinet, model CU04, designed by Cees Braakman and produced by UMS Pastoe in the Netherlands in 1958. Part of the 'Japanese series'. The black integrated handles are unmistakable in this. Black metal frame and finished with teak veneer. Two large compartments behind two folding doors. At the bottom there are 4 anti-dust drawers.
