Product description
Attractive teak wall sideboard from the sixties, manufactured by the Danish firm Dyrlund Møbler. This sideboard has been professionally renovated, restoring the warm tones of the teak to their full potential. Ideal as a wall cabinet in the living kitchen or as a stylish sideboard in the living room. Thanks to its timeless design, the cabinet can be effortlessly combined in a minimalist, modern or vintage interior.
The cabinet is made entirely of teak, with solid and veneer parts subtly alternating. The body is organically rounded all around and the corners are brought together with a refined miter joint. The carefully selected, mirror-applied veneer creates a beautiful interplay of lines in the wood grain, also known as book veneer.
The interior is divided into left and right sections, separated by an original panel. Both sides feature a height-adjustable shelf. The cabinet features two original sliding glass panels that open smoothly via solid teak handles. This sideboard is designed to be mounted floating on the wall and is equipped with the original suspension eyes on the back for this purpose. If desired, we can supply a custom-made base so that the cabinet can also be placed freestanding. Feel free to inquire about the possibilities.
The cabinet has been completely renovated by us, with old maintenance layers removed and minor repairs made. The wood has been treated with a high-quality matte furniture oil, so that the deep, warm flames of the teak are once again beautifully visible. Upon purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions with accompanying oil to keep the furniture in top condition. The cabinet is ready to use immediately.
