This impressive vintage jug in the Mid - Century style comes from the Marzi and Remy manufactory in Höhr (-Grenzhausen) in the Westerwald and was made in the late 1960s to early 1970s. It is a real highlight for collectors and lovers of classic West German ceramics.
The jug has a strong green glaze, which is given depth and character by its slightly iridescent finish. The large, all-round floral relief on the belly is particularly striking - typical of the floral and decorative trends of the time. The stylized flowers in relief style are not only a visual eye-catcher, but also a tactile one.
The model number 2027-32A and the manufacturer's mark MR are embossed on the base of the jug.
This jug is perfect as a statement piece, vintage vase or decorative individual piece in a retro living style.
