Jan te Lintelo werkte jarenlang bij verschillende meubelfirma’s, waaronder Pastoe en Gelderland. In 1994 begon Jan te Lintelo het nieuwe meubelmerk Linteloo. Jonge Nederlandse ontwerpers als Roderick Vos en Edward van Vliet kregen de kans om voor het nieuwe designmerk te ontwerpen. Jan had een sterke visie dat zijn ontwerpen leefbaar en eigentijds moesten zijn. Bij de ontwerpen van Linteloo staan het gevoel en beleving van kwaliteitsmeubels voorop.
