Beautiful Art Nouveau pottery vase. This vase was designed around 1910 by the famous ceramist Klaas Vet. Klaas Vet worked around 1900 at Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda and then at Plateelbakkerij De Distel in Amsterdam, where he experimented with matte glazes. In 1903, together with his brother Jacob, he founded Plateelbakkerij Jb Vet & Co in Purmerend. The company burned down in 1906, after which they founded the Arnhemsche Fayencefabriek in 1907, where this vase was manufactured. The vase is in perfect condition.
As good as new with no signs of wear
