Plate (plate) Japanese Imari antique indentations. Imari is porcelain that was made in the Japanese city of Arita. It was exported from the port city of Imari to Europe. Hence Imari. How is the Imari style recognizable? It consists of three striking colors. Namely cobalt blue, iron red and white. Finished with a little gold color. Green was also added to the more recent items. This is a very large plate, dates from about 1850-1860. The diameter is 48 cm.
