These two Revolt chairs are a reissue of the iconic design by Friso Kramer for Ahrend, now produced in collaboration with HAY. The design, originally from the 1950s, is characterized by its innovative use of sheet steel and a minimalist, functional aesthetic.
The chairs are crafted with a powder-coated steel frame in a soft blue hue, combined with a seat and backrest made of durable ABS plastic in the color Biscotti, a warm beige shade. This material combination ensures both sturdiness and flexibility, contributing to the ergonomic comfort for which the Revolt chair is known. The chairs are produced in Denmark, as indicated on the underside.
The set is in excellent condition, without visible signs of wear. The original finish and structural integrity have been fully preserved, testifying to careful use and the high production quality of HAY.
These Revolt chairs fit seamlessly into a modern or Scandinavian interior. They are ideal as dining chairs or as a stylish addition to a home office, where their timeless design and subtle color scheme create an understated yet characterful atmosphere. Chairs have been used little to not at all.
