Model 60 conference chair by Gijs van der Sluis in blue thick heavy duty. Chromed tubular frame and legs, mild patina in spots. Lacquered black solid wood armrests,some lacquer damage to the outsides but this doesn’t show as it’s black on black. Durable blue wool blend upholstery, quality fabric, good condition, quality lasts longest! the original design was from the sixties, but this update with more massive frame is from the 70s or early eighties Dutch design! These are sometimes attributed to Martin Visser (Spectrum) but more often to Gijs van der Sluis. Many of their furniture designs look so similar as to be almost indistinguishable.
