An exceptionally large and rare capiz shell lamp produced by Feldman Lighting, Los Angeles, United States 1950-1960. The capiz shells are mainly found in the Philippines and were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. This is a rare model in the largest variety (diameter 52 cm). We have various Capiz lamps in stock, so contact us for any other models. The lamp is without damage, only some discolorations that are always found on the shells from this period. A perfect addition to almost any interior.
