Large, burgundy-red desk lamp by lamp manufacturer Erpé in genuine Bauhaus style (1940s) Erpé stands for 'Etablissementen Ritzen & Penners', a Brussels company that designed and produced work and desk lamps from 1914 to 1940. Including the well-known banker's or notary's lamp with a green shade and cast iron base. This copy may of course also be there. The hood is virtually undamaged and therefore free of scratches and dents, also on the inside. The foot did experience some small, normal signs of use over the years. The so-called 'gooseneck'-neck and adjustable hood allow you to adjust the light of the lamp. With its XXL lampshade of 27 cm and a height of 50 cm, this lamp certainly deserves a prominent place on your desk or side table. 1x E27 fitting, unearthed plug was replaced by a usable model. Pick up in the region of Ghent, Flanders.
In good condition with light traces of use appropriate to the age of the item
