Dominique Ampe (Uccle 1944 - )
Word and language play an important role in Dominique Ampe's artworks. Painting and poetry flow into each other. Ampe creates purely graphic work and, for a number of years, also oil and acrylic paintings.
Ampe is a painter, draftsman and teacher. Employed in Breda since 1996 (teacher at the St. Joost Academy in Breda).
Education: Academy of Fine Arts in Mechelen / De Grote Hogeschool Antwerp / High School for Visual Design Sint Lucas in Brussels.
