The artist's name is Chrit Rousseau.
He was born and raised in Maastricht. ( 2 Apr 1941 ) Limburg.
Known as an artist at home and abroad.
A real Rousseau is emotion in the first place, color second.
His work consists of portraits, landscapes, still lifes and are recognizable by his expressive use of color.
Rousseau gets his inspiration from travel and other cultures.
Exhibition in 2001 in the Dominican church.
Exhibition in 2016, a retrospective in honor of his 75th birthday together with the poet Frans Bude.
