This abstract drawing was made with fineliners and acrylic markers by Arwin Kortleever (1961) and comes straight from his studio. The drawing is original (2015) and no replicas have been made or printed. The drawing is delivered without frame or other finishing. Kortleever is a Dutch artist and completely self-taught. From the age of 14 he has been drawing purely with shapes and colours. The drawings are created without a preconceived plan and are given names that he bases on the thoughts that preoccupied him during the creative process. In addition to the drawing, the buyer also receives a short story about the meaning of the title of the work. Kortleever lives alternately in Arnhem (NL) and Málaga (ES) and has exhibited in both cities in the past. He usually sells his work at art markets. There he draws 'live' and therefore enters into conversation with interested parties and buyers.
