Beautiful large Color giclee on canvas and wooden stretcher by the famous artist Alexej von Kawlenski. Size of work 50 x 60 cm in new condition. Alexej von Jawlensky studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg between 1889 and 1893, under Ilya Repin, among others. In 1896 he left from there, together with Marianne von Werefkin, for a trip through Europe. That same year they ended up in Munich, Germany, where they remained until 1899. During that time, he became friends with Wassily Kandinsky.
