DESCRIPTION The chairs are from the first owner and were purchased in 1966. One of the most beautiful, elegant and timeless design chairs ever designed. The saddle leather is connected to the frame at three points, creating a floating seat. The metal parts of the slender, elegant frame are attached to each other with countersunk Allen screws. This 'hanging' shape of the chairs looks light and flowing. The chair is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. DIMENSIONS (approx.) Height 91 cm, width 85 cm; Depth 80 cm; Seat height 38 cm. CONDITION The general condition of the leather seats, and chrome and black enamelled construction parts is "used" and in line with age and use. See photos for general condition of the chairs. One of the three legs of two of the six chairs was once broken at the screwed connection between leg and crossbar and then welded. See detailed photos.
