Peace, warmth and the luxurious hotel feeling at home, these are the pillars that always come back to us. We want you to find the same feeling of luxury and comfort at home as you would at a five-star hotel where you collapse on the plush bed after a long day of shopping or sightseeing.
For this we work with warm, deep tones that also occur in nature, such as moss green, sea blue, mauve and terracotta. These are colors that naturally bring a certain calm. Combining them with high-quality materials that feel nice to the touch, velours, leather and wood for example, you bring a calming serenity to a room.
Playing with the senses is also important: a good lighting plan, beautiful sound – both aesthetically and qualitatively – and scent always play a role for us.h the senses is also important: a good lighting plan, beautiful sound – both aesthetically and qualitatively – and scent always play a role for us.
I am Norwegian by origin, I spent part of my childhood in the Lofoten, an archipelago in Northern Norway. There we really live together with nature, it is all around you. I go back every summer for at least a month to recharge. The silence and tranquility are in stark contrast to my life in Rotterdam: in the middle of the city, full of drinks and events – pre-Covid. And I get a lot of inspiration from my great passion: Art.
The Eames Lounge Chair in custom olive green leather – the Arco lamp by Flos – the Platner chair by Knoll – the Adjustable Table by Eileen Gray – the Ultrafragola Mirror by Ettore Sottsas.
